The Media and Public Affairs Building has a 260-seat auditorium, complete with a green room, make-up room, sound lock, control room and state-of-the-art rear-projection system. The Jack Morton Auditorium is an ideal location for any event involving media personalities, current events and controversial issues. The auditorium offers complete connectivity from the stage and control room - even the seats are connected with fiber lines running to Washington's Audio-Visual Operation Center. From there, broadcast and cable media can both transmit and receive signals through Verizon's switcher. Instant feed can be picked up from this location, up-linked to a satellite, and/or web-streamed.
