Background

Jason Friedrich is a lecturer on communication law and policy for the School of Media and Public Affairs and an associate in the Communications Group of the law firm of Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP. Friedrich practices primarily in the field of wireless telecommunications and cable telephony, representing carriers and equipment manufacturers before the Federal Communications Commission and other federal agencies.

While in law school, Friedrich was a legal intern in the Office of FCC Commissioner Ness where he briefed the commissioner on action items, and drafted the commissioner's speeches. He also interned for the FCC's Office of the Bureau Chief, Cable Services Bureau and was a member of the team responsible for closed captioning rulemaking. Friedrich is a member of the New Jersey and District of Columbia Bars.
