Bob Schieffer

Since he came to CBS in 1969, Bob Schieffer has been one of the most distinguished Washington journalists. Schieffer is the chief Washington correspondent for CBS News and anchor/moderator of Face the Nation. Schieffer has been on top of many big-time stories that any given journalist would be honored to take part in. Schieffer has always been on top of his game and is perpetually yearning for yet another noteworthy story to cover.

At one time or another in his journalistic career, Bob Schieffer covered all four of Washington, DC’s major beats (the White House, the Pentagon, the State Department and Capitol Hill). Schieffer has always been covering political America due to his fascination of politics.  According to Schieffer, the most interesting thing he’s ever done was to be the recent moderator of the third and final Presidential debate between Senator John F. Kerry and President George W. Bush.
