The National Bone Health Alliance,, a leading non-profit organization based in Washington, DC, is seeking a talented and passionate Communications Intern.

Responsibilities: The Communications Intern will coordinate and manage the Alliance's activity in communications, marketing, and public relations. Working with the staff, the Intern will propose and execute efforts to promote the organization's message, market its programs and events and manage on-line newsletters. Specifically, we are looking for someone to:

  • Write and/or edit content, manage and market online newsletters with the intent to increase subscribers and drive traffic to the Alliance websites.
  • Draft Announcements, Press Releases, and Report Summaries
  • Oversee social media (i.e. Twitter and Facebook) campaigns and manage website content
  • Copy-edit reports and potentially create original articles based on NBHA programs
