Amanda Rey

Amanda Rey is Career Coach serving GW students pursuing careers in fine arts, design, media, and communication. As a former executive recruiter at NBC Universal and Russell Reynolds Associates, she brings unique insights into the way top-tier organizations approach talent identification and assessment. Amanda helps students create customized internship and job search strategies and hone the skills they need to become emotionally intelligent, innovative thinkers within their field of interest.

Earlier in her career, Amanda served the City of New York as a member of Americorps and as an inaugural staffer of NYC Service, the city's blueprint to increase civic engagement under the Bloomberg Administration.

Amanda is a certified facilitator of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator assessment, a proud graduate of Syracuse University and a fluent Spanish speaker.
