Barrett Pitner

Barrett Holmes Pitner is the founder of the Sustainable Culture Lab and the author of The Crime Without a Name: Ethnocide and the Erasure of Culture in America. His book was selected by NPR as one of the top books of 2021. He is a lecturer at the George Washington University, and a contributing writer for The Daily Beast. Pitner has a master’s degree in journalism from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University and a bachelor’s degree in political science from Furman University.
