Rep. Jenniffer González-Colón of Puerto Rico is accepting applications for unpaid spring semester internships.
Successful applicants will work in the D.C. Office under the media & public relations director. Responsibilities include drafting press releases, organizing press conferences, managing social media communications and assisting the Congresswoman with reporter inquiries and press messaging.
Requirements
- Excellent writing skills in English and Spanish
- Ability to work and deliver under pressure with minimal supervision
- Mastery of social media (Facebook and Twitter).
- Experience with graphic arts is a plus
