Frank Walter is founder and president of Impala Communications, a Washington, D.C.-based strategic communications firm. For more than 20 years, Frank has helped corporate, nonprofit, and association organizations develop and implement successful branding, communications, and marketing strategies. He has provided senior-level communications counsel to organizations such as MCI (now part of Verizon), DuPont Biosciences, World Wildlife Fund, Electric Drive Transportation Association, America's Promise Alliance, Raising A Reader, Annie E. Casey Foundation, Alliance for Early Success, HHS Office of Adolescent Health, Share Our Strength/No Kid Hungry, and Child Trends.
During his four years as vice president of strategic communications for Child Trends, he led a dramatic growth in the organization's brand awareness and audience engagement as measured by double-digit increases in annual website visitors, media coverage, social media metrics, and policy audience outreach.
He earned an MBA in information technology from Fordham University, and a B.A. in journalism and public relations from Bowling Green State University.
