It was formed in 2005 when Dr. Walter A. Roberts, a foreign policy expert, created an endowment in his name for the institute. The Transatlantic Media Network promotes excellence in journalism through the development of an expanding network of media representatives from both sides of the Atlantic for the exchange of journalistic resources and mutual professional support. The Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) is a bipartisan, non-profit organization founded in 1962 and headquartered in Washington, D.C. It seeks to advance global security and prosperity by providing strategic insights and policy solutions to decisionmakers.
