Internships @ End Citizens United

August 29, 2018

Interested in progressive politics and communications? Join End Citizens United’s communications team this fall and help us take back the House!

ECU is a grassroots campaign finance reform group dedicated to getting Big Money out of politics. We’re spearheading the No Corporate PAC movement and are working with exciting campaigns such as Beto O’Rourke, Katie Porter, Conor Lamb, Elissa Slotkin and over 70 other races.

As a member of the communications team, you’ll be working directly with us to help frame and shape the reform movement. Intern responsibilities include drafting press releases, monitoring breaking news, compiling news clips, writing op-eds, and getting a front row seat to progressive politics and campaigns. Interns will learn directly about how to deal with reporters on and off-the-record, the ins-and-outs of political communications, and attend our grassroots fundraisers and GOTV efforts.

Interns should be self-starters with an interest in progressive politics and campaigns. We are looking for organized individuals with strong writing skills and the ability to copy-edit and write creatively for a variety of audiences.
