Joe Pounder is the Founder and CEO of Bullpen Strategy Group (BSG), an insights-focused public affairs and strategic advisory firm with offices in Washington, D.C., Dallas, and London, serving clients across various industries in the U.S. and abroad.

Prior to BSG, Pounder started several successful communications and research groups in the United States. Before that, Pounder served in several capacities for current Secretary of State Marco Rubio, including senior advisor to his 2016 presidential campaign, Communications Director in his U.S. Senate office, and Deputy Campaign Manager for his historic 2010 U.S. Senate election victory.

During the 2012 election cycle, Pounder served as the Research Director and Deputy Communications Director at the Republican National Committee. Pounder has also worked for former House Republican Whip Eric Cantor, Director of Rapid Response for the presidential campaigns of both U.S. Senator John McCain and Governor Mitt Romney during the 2008 election cycle, and as Deputy Associate Director of the White House Office of Communications under President George W. Bush.

For his achievements, Pounder has been nationally recognized by Campaign & Election, The Washingtonian, GQ Magazine, Politico, and BuzzFeed for his research and communication acumen. Pounder is a graduate of The George Washington University and Gettysburg Area High School in Pennsylvania.
