Warren Communications News, the leading independent news service covering the internet and telecommunications seeks a top‑notch reporting intern for technology coverage.

You will learn how to cover some of the most exciting stories in business, politics, regulation and tech and will receive bylines for your work. In addition to Communications Daily, your stories will appear in Washington Internet Daily. Both publications, part of Warren Communications News, are perennial journalism award winners.

The position pays $10 per hour and has been used to earn college credits and to fulfil internship requirements. You will work during regular business hours on weekdays.

Interns work in their District newsroom, which is near George Washington University and between the Foggy Bottom and Dupont Circle Metrorail stations. Interns file a bylined story and a few unsigned news briefs most days. Successful interns will be considered for full-time opportunities at Warren.

You should be comfortable conducting interviews with government officials, executives and other experts by phone and occasionally in person.
