Framing conflicts in digital and transnational media environments

This article summarizes some of those studies’ contributions and builds on them to explore two specific themes: how digitalization and the subsequent emergence of global and therefore transnational information networks have produced fundamental structural changes in media systems and what difference this makes to hierarchies of power in communication and decisions about conflict.
