617MediaGroup, Boston’s fastest growing progressive communications firm, is looking for a spring videography intern. Their internship program provides up-and-coming videographers with the opportunity to get significant production and post-production experience while learning from professionals and making an impact for the public good. This is a full-time, paid internship with potential for staff promotion thereafter.
Responsibilities
- Document major social movements, labor rallies, marches, and heart-warming moments in people’s lives
- Provide videography services at client events
- Edit high-quality videos for client review in a quick and efficient manner
Qualifications
- A degree (or earning a degree) in videography, journalism, communication, or other related field
- Experience shooting at public events and editing footage to create a polished, finished product
- Portfolio of previous work
- Proficiency working with standard videography equipment
- Flexible schedule with ability to occasionally work nights and weekends as needed for client events
