Dana Bash, BA ’93, is now CNN’s Chief Political Correspondent. Bash, who earned her degree in political communication, assumes the coveted editorial role after more than 30 years with CNN. She took her first position in CNN’s Washington bureau in 1993 as a library assistant and proceeded to rise to the role of chief congressional correspondent.
The role of Chief Political Correspondent was previously held Candy Crowley for 27 years. CNN also announced that one of Bash’s first assignments will be to question candidates at next month’s Republican primary debate in Simi Valley, California.
