CJ Libassi is a policy analyst of postsecondary education at the Center for American Progress. In his past work, Libassi served as a research area specialist at the University of Michigan Education Policy Initiative; an English teaching assistant at a secondary school in Madrid, Spain, through the Fulbright Program and an elementary school foreign-language teacher in the Prince George’s County Public Schools through Teach for America.
He received his MPP from the University of Michigan Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy, as well as an M.A. in teaching from American University and a B.A. in English, Spanish and philosophy from the University of Scranton.
