 The selected candidate will be able to work a minimum of 24 hours per week. A stipend is provided.

Responsibilities

  • exchange program support and logistics
  • research
  • writing
  • editing
  • updating databases 
  • aiding the work of Global Ties U.S. in citizen diplomacy, nonprofit leadership and international education and exchange as assigned

Qualifications

  •  Interest in the field of public diplomacy, nonprofit leadership, global engagement, international education, and exchange.
  • Strong writing, communication, and organizational skills
  • Experience with MS Office (Word and Excel)
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision
  • Detail oriented
  • Multi-cultural experience preferred
  • Experience with data systems, event support, and report writing desired, but not essential
  • Flexibility and willingness to work beyond the parameters of a job description
  • Ability to transition easily from working as a team player to working independently
