EVENT:        
“Reporting in Pakistan: The Challenges, Realities and Stories You Aren’t Hearing” will feature a panel of journalists who have spent years in the country pursuing stories that often go underreported. They will discuss the challenges and dangers of their work and the important stories Americans often don't hear. The event is presented by the George Washington University (GW) School of Media and Public Affairs (SMPA) and the Overseas Press Club of America (OPC). This event will be live tweeted at #reportingpak.

WHO:
Panelists include:
•    Declan Walsh, Pakistan bureau chief for The New York Times
•    Habiba Nosheen, a Peabody award-winning Pakistani journalist and filmmaker of “Outlawed in Pakistan”
•    Sadia Shepard, a Pakistani-American documentary film producer and author
•    Richard Leiby, GW SMPA lecturer who recently returned from Pakistan, where he was bureau chief for The Washington Post

Azmat Khan, senior digital producer and reporter at Al Jazeera and OPC board member, will moderate.
