Research Professor and Director of the Media and Peacebuilding Project, Babak Bahador, has been named the new Director of the Institute for Public Diplomacy and Global Communication (IPDGC).
Since 2006, Babak has taught and researched in the areas of media, peace and conflict, political communication and public diplomacy. At SMPA, he teaches courses on Media and Peacebuilding and Development and Humanitarian Communication. In addition to his academic roles, he directs Peace News Network, a media start-up covering peacebuilding in conflict zones. Babak holds a PhD in International Relations from the London School of Economics.
