Washington Post Front Page

Debbie Cenziper, an assistant professor at SMPA and investigative reporter at The Washington Post, and M.A. student Scott Nover garnered bylines on The Washington Post front page this morning. Their reporting tells the story of efforts to deport a convicted ex-Nazi guard from the United States.

The article, “Former guard at Nazi camp is the last remaining war collaborator ordered out of the United States. Authorities want him gone before he dies,” is also featured as a top story on The Washington Post website home page today.

It is the second time this year that Cenziper and SMPA students received bylines on The Post's A1. In May, Robin Eberhardt, BA '17, and Lillianna Byington, BA '18, received bylines with Cenziper for their reporting on the millions of dollars forfeited by the D.C. Housing Department and the low-income residents waiting for help.
