Trevor Davis is founder and CEO of CounterAction, a New Media Ventures portfolio company, and a research professor at the George Washington University School of Media and Public Affairs. 

Trevor was recognized for his years working at the cutting edge of digital organizing and online media with a fellowship in Technology Democracy at the Harvard Kennedy School. As CTO of Campaign for America's Future, he managed a team of digital organizers and led advocacy and fundraising efforts.

In 2005 he founded Crisis Pictures which, according to The Washington Post, shows "how the might of the entire U.S. military can be taken on by a single blogger working part time." He has had plays produced in three countries, most recently at West Beth theatre in New York City.

He is the editor and co-author of the book “Photographing Freedom” with civil rights legend Mary Elizabeth King and a graduate of the London School of Economics.
