Spring break is officially in the rear-view mirror and the end of semester is around the next corner. The last four weeks of the semester are going to be busy. If you haven't already, now is a good time to make a schedule to manage everything you have due, and everything you have to do, between now and the end of April.
Put all of your deadlines in your calendar. Then schedule backwards from those deadlines to today - by when do you need a final draft? the draft before that? any research? production? conduct interviews? Map your papers, projects, and exams the way you would a roadtrip (a well planned roadtrip).
This exercise will do a few things. First, it will help you keep organized and on track, which means your work will be better and you will be less stressed. Second, it will let you know if there are any roadblocks you hadn’t thought of, it will ensure you can get what you need. Finally, it will let you know if you need to talk to your professors about the work. The time to tell a professor you're in a jam is this week, not the night before something is due.
It may feel like you have a long way to go and a short time to get there, but with a bit of planning you make it work.
