Work with veteran columnist and liberal political commentator Bill Press on a new website tied to his forthcoming book, Trump Must Go, where readers can submit their own reasons for Trump to leave office.
The intern will review, manage and update the website on a daily basis exercising editorial judgment over which submissions to publish and writing editorial comments.
Press is the host of TYT Network’s national radio show “Bill Press Show,” simulcast on Free Speech TV, and is a contributor for The Hill.
He is the former host of the MNSBC program “Buchanan and Press” and the CNN programs “Crossfire” and “The Spin Room.” Press was the chair of the California Democratic Party from 1993 to 1996 and is the author of several books.
Qualifications
- Internet savvy/ experience with web content management systems like WordPress or Drupal
- Strong writer
- Editorial skills
- Passion for and strong knowledge of national politics
Responsibilities
- Review, manage and update the website on a daily basis
- Exercise editorial judgment on what gets added, and what does not.
- Write editorial comments.
Additional Details
Duration of project: six months
The employer may be able to provide a stipend to a qualified intern. The position is flexible and largely web-based with the potential for remote work.
