Aspiring journalist/public relations/communications majors, or all of the above, looking for an exhilarating and unique fall internship with a former CNN correspondent/public relations and NGO senior executive in Chevy Chase, MD.
Time4Coffee is a social enterprise – the centerpiece of which is a podcast – which launched in August 2018. As of mid-October, T4C has dropped over 50 episodes – with 5 new episodes dropping each and every week. The target audience of T4C is 18-25 years olds: college students, graduate students and recent graduates with a mission to help these ‘Java Junkies’ turn their college degrees into jobs and careers they love!
CEO & Chief Java Junkie, Andrea Koppel, interviews professionals from the entry-level up to the C-suite executive level in dozens of different professions to gather insights into their jobs, their lessons learned and their advice for our T4C Java Junkie community. Andrea also interviews experts in health, wellness and self-care because what good is it to get a job you love if you're stressed out, sick, unhappy, depressed and unable to enjoy life?
Candidates must be strong writers, funny, kind, well-organized, reliable and hard-working -- it's big plus if you're extremely knowledgeable, creative and versatile with editing on Adobe Audition software (if not Andrea will teach you), producing and posting content to all social media platforms (YouTube, InstaStories, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn) with an ability or desire to learn to edit audio and video and navigate Wordpress a plus.
Remote work is encouraged and easily accommodated.
