Video Production Intern @ SourceAmerica

The intern will produce videos using current footage and training videos. The position will also be very involved in the implementation of a new digital asset management system, from the selection process all the way through to adding and managing assets following implementation.

  • Major/Field of Study in either Video Production, Post-Production,  IT (with focus on Digital Media Workflows)
  • Experienced with DSLRs, Video cameras, audio equipment and the stages of Video Production
  • Experience with creating Documentaries/Interviews a plus
  • Will provide photography and video support, acting as second and PA to Video Production Manager
  • Help support our Digital Asset Management System containing a large catalog of assets via tagging, uploading assets and more
  • Support Sales team and other groups by locating and providing graphics, photos, documents and more
  • Locate and catalog footage from previous shoots to be utilized in current projects
  • Create EDLs (edit decision lists) for Primary editor adhering to guidelines and project requests
  • Creative thinker and problem-solver
  • Well versed in Microsoft Office
  • Experience in Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro/X or other NLEs (non-linear editing systems) a plus

This is a paid opportunity and the intern will be expected to work full-time starting at their earliest convenience working until the end of August.
